kind and caring people, Robert and Carolyn of Evergreen, Colorado.
Our next blog will be from Tanzania!

Sorry to see you leave...I'll miss our weekly coffee, but I guess we'll have to improvise and do it via skype. I know you guys are very anxious to start another chapter in your very long journey together. Most of all Glen and I wish you to be safe and we can hardly wait for you to share your new experiences with us. It's not forever so we don't have to say good-bye! Love and hugs, Donna
Day 1 - It's been less than 24 hours and Patch and Bailey are adjusting to their new housemates... Patch goes back and forth between hiding under the desk, to marching around the house meowing to show Bailey (our Chocolate Lab) who's in charge now. He's been very vocal this morning while I was making breakfast. Lots of meowing and rubbing against my legs. He's been eating well and found the litter box. He even jumped up on my lap for awhile. As for Bailey, he tends to leave a wide berth between him and Patch, but the distance is getting smaller and Patch hisses less each time. We'll keep you posted on the progress in the negotiations. Have a good trip! - Carolyn, Robert, Bailey, and Patch
It's Day 4 of the Peace Negotiations. Happy to report that Patch (the cat) and Bailey (the Chocolate Lab) seem to have reached a Peace Accord. Patch is now out of hiding and exploring his new environment. This morning he was sitting on the back of the couch, looking over my shoulder, and purring, as I ate my cereal. - Carolyn
